Jim, as usual, your advice is right on. I was in the LBS and asked for a demo of the pliers. Wow. I ordered a pair. While they're expensive and I will only use them a couple of times a year, it's a small price to pay to avoid the frustration and consequent agitation caused by trying to do it by hand. At my age, $15 is a small price to pay to keep my blood pressure down. Question, though: I haven't been in the garage to try it yet, but would a pair of needle nose pliers accomplish the same thing?
