For my recent tour I ended up using the Shimano touring pedals which meant I used my cycling shoes. My intention prior to the tour had been to use Grip Kings but I succumbed to peer pressure and used the Shimano pedals and my Sidi shoes. I really think I would have been fine with the Grip Kings. Between the Grip Kings and the MKS touring pedals I like the Grip Kings although they're really not the grippy. Still, next time I tour, Grip Kings or Sneaker Pedals or something like it for sure.
I went out for a ride today in a wool t-shirt and MUSA shorts. I was too lazy to switch pedals after removing the racks from my bike. How long before I abandon my bib shorts and Sidi shoes altogether? --mike On Aug 18, 1:54 pm, bwgride <[email protected]> wrote: > The sneaker pedals are closely related to BMX pedals - they are wider > than Grip Kings.
