I rode my bike last weekend in the rain with a Randi-Jo cover in place and have done it before. The fabric is a lot more comfortable than a vinyl cover. I also had my bike hanging on the back of a 45' RV last month for a 600-mi drive in the rain and the saddle came out of the trip well.
