Hi all, I went to Manny's deadly ride from the Ferry building to San Rafael before splitting off back to the Larkspur ferry back to SF. It was fantastic to meet a bunch of folks from the list and ride to Fairfax, and then several brave souls continued up into the off-road trek. It was my first mixed terrain ride ever! My 650b Homer with Soma Xpress tires did great! Luckily I used to ride mountain bikes 10 years back before giving it away, so I wasn't completely hopeless off-road. I had such a great time on the fire roads and singletrack, that I'm sure I'll be joining more mixed terrain adventures in the future! Thanks to Manny and all of my new Riv friends for a great time and hope to do it again!
