I was fortunate to get a ride in on Saturday afternoon that included a stop at II Vecchio, gorgeous bikes. Jan thanks for organizing this, it was a real treat to see all those classy bikes in person. Ausgezeichnet! or perhaps more approriately très bon ! Your new book is now on my xmas list ;-)
The bikes made me want to wonder French back roads with a handlebar bag full of bread cheese and wine, but a beautiful fall day to ride along Lake Washington is nothing to sniff at either. Rob, I feel your pain, I was lucky that my six year-old daugther was at a party yesterday, but I had a similar experience to yours when I tried to go see Greg Lemond speak at a Green Lake coffee shop when she was 4- I got to stay for about 5 mins tops.
