Jay here rides almost entirely with a load up front (on Platrackprototype with big basket and ShopSack prototype with lots in it), no problem. On campouts, three to four campers will have heavy loads up there, sometimes 60 percent front, 40 rear; and sometimes the other way around. I have no preference and no strong opinions about loading a bike. I've done it so many ways so differently so many times, and it's just a matter of getting in sync with the bike loaded this way or that, and it takes (seems to take me) no time at all. Last week I was riding home with the PR and SLICKERSACK with heavy stuff in it-laptop, food, cameras, some tools. You adapt to the weight shift in fifty yards, and then it's normal. I think it's on of those "don't overthinkit" things, but that's just me. G
