Been there and done that too . . . lol. Aesthetics don't matter too much for me, the feel on the bike does ! I see man and bike as a union, separate but work in unity . Its pure feeling. Small frames just don't feel right to me.
And also, I rather like spending money for things I really really want ! Trying to save a buck when I really want something else does not feel very good at all.
