I know it's been stated that the Clem Jr. may only be sold as a complete
bike, but the descriptions screams ultimate city bike and all I would need
is the frame. Last winter I built up a VO Polyvalent frame with a 1x8
drivetrain, 650b wheels with Schwalbe 42 cm tires, Bosco bars, fenders,
cantilever brakes, clem rack. Damn, I bet the seat post I have would work
on this frame as well. I imagine it would provide a nicer ride and a bit
more fun. I find this build ideal for city riding and city trail
riding--dirt and paved. I've never been crazy about the Polyvalent frame,
though it is truly utilitarian, it was designed to try and do too much and
it needs longer chain stays for my needs. Looks like Riv just fixed my
problem with a bike that was designed to do exactly what I want.
