I've done a number of their tours.  If you can manage 15 mph rolling 
average, you will do fine.  That bit about riding on the front at 20+ mph 
is a misnomer, yeah, maybe it was like that in the early days, but the 
tours have gotten much mellower as we've all got a little older.

Please, do the tour!  They are incredible experiences.  I hate to train and 
I'm not very fast but I never thought I was out of my league and people are 
really supportive, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to ride with Susan 
and Lon.  They are incredibly knowledgeable and always have fantastic crews.

Also, the Northern Transcontinental ends up Williamsburg, VA, FWIW.
