My daughter's bike has a low-normal Shimano RD, Campy FD and Shimano indexing MB shifters. We picked low-normal so thumbs make it harder, fingers make it easier. We built it with a red 1987 Schwinn(Giant) steel frame, early Stumpjumper quill stem with double clamps and riser bar, Rich wheels, 3x8 drivetrain. All is well 5yrs later. Such a nice bike!
