Threadless is easy to reallocate bars across different bikes, easy to resize a bike for a very different sized rider, easy to drop a fork out of a frame for whatever reason. Easy to buy a new stem in a bike shop. I've never had a stuck threadless stem. All my threadless parts are interchangeable, which is not true of my quill stem bikes.
