Here's my derailleur lineup on different bikes (none of them Rivendells): Dura Ace 10-speed long cage on my Jeff Lyon randonneur, with 10-speed DA cassette and Campy Ergoshifters using a shiftmate SRAM Rival 10-speed medium cage on my Rawland gravel bike, with 10-speed SRAM cassette and SRAM Rival brifters Shimano 105 6-speed on my 650B porteur (indexing with 8-speed cassette), with 8-speed bar-ends on Paul thumbies Simplex SLJ 5500 on my Jack Taylor, with 6-speed friction, shifted with Simplex SLJ retrofriction down tube shifters Huret Jubilee on my Mercian, with 5-speed friction, shifted with Huret Jubilee down tube shifters
