I was thinking about this theft, and wanted to take a moment to reccomend the Abus wheel locks: http://www.abus.com/us/Recreational-Security/Bike-Safety-and-Security/Locks/Frame-Locks They're not super secure like a u-lock, but are really good for when you're just running in somewhere and want the peace of mind of a locked bike.
