Well now that you have it back... put pitlocks on the wheels and seatpost. It will cost $100 to do it, but once done, a thief cannot sell your bike with secured wheels and seatpost without an outrageous story.
No one will buy a bike that has unfixable flats. Every potential buyer will notice during the illicit purchase that the seatpost cannot be adjusted. It's good insurance.
