I just visited the Riv HQ and test rode a few of the bikes. The guys in the store (Vince and Will) were awesome and patient with my excitement for my pilgrimage to Mecca!
My question: All of the bikes were Rapid Rise (backward in the rear, hmm bassackward?). Is there a reason why? I also bought my wife a used Betty Foy with a rapid rise rear Der and I am currently not planning on changing it. But she is going to be in for a rude awakening if she ever steps off her Riv and rides one of her friends bikes or one of my non-Riv bikes. She had Paul thumbies on her last bike. Still excited!
