I've not tried the Knards, but I've heard they are pretty fragile. I'm loving the Rock n Roads so far on my Sam. They do hum a bit, but to my ears it's a pleasant hum, not as bad as the buzz from knobbies. The Clements are very popular with the gravel crowd in my neck of the woods. The new tubeless 700x36 MSO's are supposed to be the bee's knees.
