I have a Hupe ( yes it will scratch your frame) and I don't think it would sit low enough for a large bag, but I guess it depends on the frame. Also a friend looked at it for use on his Atlantis and we concluded that it would interfere with the brake cable. If you're in the DC ( DMV) area, you're welcome to try mine. Steve
