I had a pleasant ride today. Some of you guys wiill be happy to know I met a young man on a new upright Raleigh whose engine outdid mine. But one of the coolest parts of it, I only saw one carbon bike, and more than half a dozen classic steel road bikes. Yes, most of them were wearing lycra, but one young man on Bianci-green steel was even wearing a classic hairnet helmet - I don't think it was leather, but it sure looked like it.
