If your bike currently fits 700 x 38, then the R559/Silver brake calipers may
not offer enough reach (19mm greater) for 650b wheels.

R559/Silver calipers are great for 650b conversions of frames designed for
"short reach" (39-49 mm reach) brake calipers.

If your bike fits 700 x 38, then it's already using at least "medium-reach"
(47-57 mm) calipers.

Measure the reach now, add 19, and then see if it fits within 73 mm
(R559/Silver calipers) or 78 mm (Dia-Compe centerpulls).
