Thanks all who replied!  For clarification, this is for a 26" wheeled 1" 
threaded steer tubed fork.  There's lots of clearance on the rear wheel for 
smart sam 2.1"ers  but up front the wide rim I put in barely fits between the 
blades.   I never thought to measure that and I'm bummed because I was starting 
the final build.
