I originally had my Rambouillet set up as 700 x 28c. BB height of 26.5cm.
Still not enough fender clearance for my comfort level.

After converting to 650b x 42mm, the BB height is now 26cm. Same as my 650b
Bleriot, and I have 170 crankarms on both bikes!! So should be as pedal
strike free as the Bleriot, I hope. Way more fender clearance now.

Sorry for the bad fenderlines. But the plastic fenders seem to have locked
themselves into the shape they were in on my old Sam bike. I hope to get
some Honjos soon, and a VO Rando rack, as the M18 is way too high now.
I hope to bend the VO tang to my preferred height so it sits right over the
future Honjo fender.

I used Tektro R559 brakes. The front brake reach is fine with Koolstop
Dura2 salmon pads.
I used Kool Stop Thinline pads on the rear brake as it needed another mm of
reach to reach far enough.
Standard rear R559 pads didn't reach all the way on the right rear arm of
calipers. Just a mm shy or so.

A big shout out to Rod O'Connor (for the frame), and ttoshi, and Leslie
Bright from this forum for all their pointers on the conversion and
Rambouillet info in general!

Enjoy the pics!! It rode great as a 700c. I hope to report back with a 650b
ride report soon.
