I applaud your itch to build up a bike around a handlebar, i feel each bike
should have a decidedly different cockpit. I have an albastached on my
hunqapillar and as a serial cockpit swapper i've tried jones, map, dirt
drops, and something else I can't remember but always go back to
albastache. I feel they work on any bike you would have put drops on
because the reach puts you in an aero position like drops would, but you
also have the benefit of uprights. What about your black mountain? I like
mine on the hunq b/c its my all rounder and trail bike. Seems the Black
Mountain might fit that bill for you as well. If not I'd try and score an
XO-1 or an MB-1 or something dirt and trail oriented that I can fit wider
tires on and use for an all rounder.
