I hope it has a seat tube angle of 73 degrees or so--the gradually slackening(!) of Riv's bikes has put them outside my fit zone. (since I don't use Brooks saddles, I don't need so much setback)

Not sure if that's well-advised, but it seems to be a Riv trend to use them on recent frames. Otherwise, It sounds like a versatile road frame and a fruitful collaborative project.
