Conway: I switched from a B17 to a Rivet on my Quickbeam a few years ago. I learned the following:
- The Rivet saddle is taller than a B17. I had to move the seatpost down a bit to get back to the same overall height. Measure your existing setup carefully and then make sure the new saddle is at the correct height. - It took a while for the Rivet to feel as good as a B17—longer than it takes for a new B17. The saddle eventually became very comfy, but the break-in period was definitely longer. --Eric Norris campyonly...@me.com @CampyOnlyguy (Twitter/Instagram) > On Apr 17, 2017, at 4:39 PM, Conway Bennett <captainconwaybenn...@gmail.com> > wrote: > > So I picked up a bike locally for friend (no money has changed hands so it's > still mine) and it had a rivet saddle on it.
