I will throw in, and someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Pro's
Closet is many times selling a bike on consignment. It could be that
someone brought them the bike and wants a certain amount back from it. PC
considers, then decides if the bike might sell with the owner's price in
mind plus some level of commission. I could be wrong on that but I believe
that to be so. I have also seen their prices lowered when things don't
sell over time. My assumption has always been that the "owner" has agreed
to the drop in price hoping for a sale.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but I was thinking Pro's Closet was, for the
most part, a place for consignments, hence some possible overhead in
pricing.
