Altered-conscious? I had two great rides with my little people today. First was during a light drizzle with the 7 y.o, collecting rocks for a school project (design an animal out of rocks!!!). Second ride going to Trader Joe's during a downpour w/ the winds blowing the rain pretty much sideways and straight at us as mentioned. My 5 y.o. couldn't even get her bike moving at times.
People stared at us from cars (and TJ's) like we were insane. I'm surprised I didn't get pulled over by the cops and sent directly to children's services for chld abuse! http://www.flickr.com/photos/cyclotourist/archives/date-posted/2010/01/18/ And yes, we do know you folks in the Great Pacific North West are laughing at us.
