15 flats in a year! Oooooooh!

Sorry, I'm being mean; I'll stop.

Moving on: I use the 178 gram ~29mm wide 559 Elk Passes, on pavement and
firm dirt and gravel, as I've reported too many times already, and this in
the Goathead Capital of the Universe. Without sealant, these tires would be
like the original Parigi Roubaix, where I got 5 flats within the first 10
miles, before adding sealant. But with sealant, they're bullet- -- or at
least, thorn- -- proof and I have over 3600 miles on the rear of one pair
with many miles left.

That's a *178 gram tire,* my friends!

Aside: I believe that relative to their much huger bulk, the lightest 700C
X 60 Big One (the 440 gram one) roll just as well, at least tubeless; we'll
see how many miles they give me. They certainly float over sand!
