Thanks for the write up. Sounds like s lot of fun and I’ll have to try a Brevet someday. I especially enjoyed the write up for the Sam, which I think is often the underrated Riv bike. My riding experience of the Sam is similar and despite the weight I don’t feel much slower. The weight of the Sam feels like it is mostly the component choices and not the frame and I have thought of building a Canti Sam up with a light group set.
