Your description of the similarities between the Quickbeam and Atlantis makes me wonder if my Bubbe road is in the same neighborhood, as it was designed around a SmpleOne fork and prob has stouter tubing than the Quickbeam. It's Quickbeam genes were a major reason I bought it. It's not "lively" but it's not a slug at all!
