i have a newer one. i got the extra short one just to be ultra-minimal and 
light. this is great for locking up your bike for sub-5min jaunts to the 
liquor store in a nice neighborhood, or supplemental to a fat U lock as a 
front wheel or saddle lock. i just met someone who has one who someone 
tried to cut through and it didnt work (they were unable to cut through it 
quickly). this is a good sign that a bolt cutter is probably not enough, 
but i'd still use caution.
