Tires are 38mm Paselas. Pads are roughly in the middle of the arms - if 
your reach is more you will likely clear up to 42mm tire. I actually 
modified some old Weinmann 610s to fit Snoqualmie Pass tires on this bike, 
though the clearances ended up being too tight for my comfort.
These are really nice brakes, a step above the old versions, and they look 
nice and shiny too. I was really surprised with the actual brake pads. They 
stop really well, no squeal at all and I just did a rough setup and still 
need to adjust proper toe in. 
Part of the reason I chose these brakes too is for easy in rinko-ing the 
bike so I can take a train home from work. Not an every day sort of thing, 
but maybe once every couple weeks. That plan still needs to get fleshed out.
