I have one of those basic Specialized models too, cost about $35 and I've had it for 14-15 years, still works fine. It's better at Presta than Schrader, but that doesn't really bother me because my fleet is all Presta. Only thing that's Shrader is the jogging stroller, but I don't jog anyway, so no problem.
