I switched to Cyclemeter a number of years ago from Endomodo and find it
much more controllable and easy to use. This must have been 2012 or 2013,
so don't know how Endomodo is now, but back then it was annoying.

I use 1 iPhone for 4 bikes and record the mileage on a complex spreadsheet
that tracks daily, cumulative annual, and cumulative cumulative mileage for
each bike, with a descriptor field ("Home Church Home via No Divers.
Channel outbound/Guadalupe return", for example), and a far-right section
to track maintenance. One of the benefits of business school was becoming a
minor ace with Excel -- used to do payroll taxes with a huge spreadsheet I
built that worked very well -- until you got one variable field wrong ...

I renew the mileage spreadsheet each year.

BTW, it's easy to build little spreadsheets for gear inches or development
or gain ratios; I like gear inches since they tell the educated mind the
same thing and require fewer steps.
