I should say that I got hit by a car and took a chainring to the Achilles in my
mid 20s. I was on crutches for a hike and my muscles really suffered. Then I
gained a TON of weight and could only walk a block before intense pain
happened. I cut out some trash food I was eating and learned Olympic lifts and
even did some cross fit. I’ve found that the key to my back is keeping below a
target weight and keeping up my whole body strength. Planks, squats, pushups,
table rows, pull ups etc are what I do these days. I dabble in kettle bells and
try not to fold my body like origami on the bike. But I can do that if I want.
It’s all about getting your body to be able to do what you want. Some need the
Aggro fold. Some don’t.
