Another take on fenders: sometimes you want or need fenders but sometimes you don’t. The advantage to a fender such as the SKS plastic models is they can be installed & removed without much difficulty.
I have VO aluminum fenders on my Sam. Certainly some work to mount but I love the look and they perform quite well. They are on for the long haul.
