On the question of V-brakes vs. Centerpulls, in my opinion
    V-brakes are:

       2. Very hard to combine with wide/tall tires and fenders.

In practice, that is not a realistic "versus" question at all. There are no centerpulls that would fit onto V-brake brazed-on posts.  While there is a centerpull that uses canti posts (which V brakes also do) the posts would be positioned all wrong.  The choice would be between V brakes and cantilevers, since a frame equipped with brazed on posts suitable for the one would also be suitable for the other.

Of course, you are right about V brake ugliness and crowding tall tires and fenders.  You could also mention V brake hair-trigger lack of modulation and incompatibility with road brake levers as cons.
