I think if they end up making the 55cm (aka medium frame) a little "bigger" it will help give people a choice of choosing a frame with a lower step-through. The recommended sizing for the current Cheviot really pushes "medium" candidates to the large frame size. The large size's step over is pretty darn high as I recall.
