Has no one bothered to look up the Latin name of the platypus? *Anatinus*
is the species. I think it sounds quite regal, as people have requested.
Beyond that it is a scientific name, scientific names are used by people
worldwide to communicate effectively. Good start, we're getting
cross-cultural.

Then we go back to gender-neutral first names. My first though was Dylan,
not only a much beloved name in Rivendell but also it's meaning has
water-based roots. But maybe it doesn't flow too well with Anatinus. What
does sound good it Tony, or Toni, or my favorite spelling, Tonee. I have
no skin in the game because my step-thru is a giant Rosco Mtn. mixte, but I
think that *Tonee Anatinus* would be a bitchin name for a bike.
