I run Minimotos on my BMW Monstercross and I really like them over cantis. I can fit the 43mm Panaracer Gravelking SKs under them. In the winter I put fenders on (45mm SKS) over 38mm Barlow Pass tires. The cable slightly touches one of the fenders, but it doesn't affect operation or safety.
They are easy to install and setup.
