Hey Andrew,

I had a similar feeling when I had my Clem with a P&S rack with a heavy 
basket load...took some effort to manage the steering and didn't feel the 
same. Issue was resolved when I put less weight up front (during camping, 
it meant the sleeping setup) and switched to a smaller surly 8-pack 
rack...no ideas if the weight was any different, but it did make it less 
"twitchy." I can't comment on the GK tires, but I have had some self steer 
issues when using too-big-a-tire at too-low-a-pressure as well.
