I just like the Monocog better for sand, and I've now got 42s on the
Matthews road bike, which handles better on pavement, so this "dirt road
bike" just falls between the cracks. I just ordered a MAP/Ahearne bar for
the Monocog.

51 c-c, 55 c-t, with very sloped tt; fits me perfectly who take a 60 C
56-57 c-c in a level tt road bike
*Effective tt* 56-57
HTA ~71.5, STA ~72, rake ~55 mm

Custom rear rack in matching color
Logic hs, Phil 130 mm steel bb (works with Ritchey Logic cranks, not
included) for 160 mm Q
Custom 80 mm aluminum full coverage fenders. Forward strut may seem oddly
close to head tube; that's because I re-installed fender for more forward
coverage, and used original hole for strut. It's fine: stiff, and doesn't
rattle.
TRP Hy Rds calipers (no discs or levers; see below)
Room for real 60s and fenders, but more room under ss bridge with 50s.
Fork has "hooks" for dynamo wire (wire can be installed with plug attached;
it's secure); internal rear light wire routing thru tt and ss; rear rack
has internal routing too.
3 pairs of bottle cage mounts
Internal routing for rear disc brake cable
QR or nutted-type dropouts (I have not had any rubbing problems)
Brake housing stops on bottom head tube
Brazed-in under-bb cable guides

There is some touch-up paint mess on inside of seatstays just under bridge
where a 5 mile walk home with a flattened Big One wore off the paint, which
I repainted with red paint on hand -- 2 neat little read squares. There are
also primer "tendrils" that escaped the masking that I will try to clean up
with acetone; not obvious unless you look closely. Rear rack has scuffing
from Ortlieb clips; Otherwise, paint is vg.

No wheels, crank, cassette, derailleurs

*Note that with Big Ones and fenders, there is a good 2 1/2" of toe
overlap.* (I told Chauncey what my priorities were, and avoiding TO was low
on the list.)

$1,000 NET plus actual packing + Bike Flights or ShipBikes shipping to your
address. The local shop charges about $60 for packing, and there may be a
2-week wait for the job order.

Add 10 cm, 90* Ritchey stem ($90 new), pretty new RH Maes Parallel, non-EL,
44 cm, Shimano aero levers, and cabling for total price of $1,200 NET +
packing and shipping.

Also selling NOS lightest-model Big Ones, contact me about qty and pricing.
Willing to discount for qty order with frameset.

*Apart from these sale options, I don't want to part out at this point*

Photos to come.

Please reply *off list.*

Thanks, Patrick
