Yes, ponchos, please! Sure, I live in a desert so what do I know from rain,
but really, when we do get a bit of our annual 9", it tends to come down in
buckets, and I've ridden in real gullywashers wearing a cheap Campmor
poncho (which I like better than the more expensive Carradice ones I've
owned), and stayed dry between neck and knee, even when the rain was
accompanied by very strong wind.

The last I looked, Campmor no longer carries their cycling poncho, so I'm
glad I bought one when I did. I replaced the annoying leg loops with a
stack of large washers at the rear to keep the tail down.
