I used to have a TS-6 stand  VeloBase.com - View Single Tool
<https://velobase.com/ViewTool.aspx?ID=6c6f32f6-2eca-46e4-9623-2c3f276ee114>
which
worked well for many wheel builds. I graduated to TS-2 acquired from a
member on the ibob list. The TS-6 went to a fellow ibob too.

Is the TS-2 any better than the TS-6? Not really, its more stable without
securing it to something. I use a 1 x 18x12 piece of pine the base is
attached to with carriage bolts through the pre-drilled holes on the lower
frame. The wood base makes the rig stable on any surface. I had the same
setup with the TS-6, but since the TS-6 is lighter weight, it still needed
to be anchored somehow. I used two carriage bolts with wing nuts and
secured it to a plastic milk crate - an old ones from the early 70s.

I still use a dishing tool for wheel builds finished on the TS-2 since the
centering feature is off a couple of millimeters. Its a snap to use a wheel
dish tool.
