I believe Leah's use of the term "bottom bracket lug" (or lugs) is 
accurate. The bottom bracket shell is the cylinder the bottom bracket 
slides into; then there's the joints that connect seattube, downtube and 
chainstays to the shell. The shell on both her Platys is the same, the 
bottom bracket lug is different.
