Richard, specifically in megabytes, what is the size of the image you are trying to post ? The size limit for a post is possibly 8mb, not the 25mb which I think is for gee-mail attachments.
You have not mentioned removing the string of replies below the three dots, have you done that also ? For that matter, by all means try another web browser. Also, try sending the message to the group email address via gmail.
