Kurt You bought my Rosco Road, and know how it fit(s). I also have had a 58 Toyo Atlantis ramble through my stable and it fit splendidly. The reason a 58.5cm top tube give you pause is because it is coupled with a slacker seat tube than most other bikes. On a Rivendell, if you are thinking correctly about saddle position, you'll be in the middle of the rails on a Riv, where you'd be slammed back on most normal bikes. That's 1.5cm or more right there.
Anyway, go for it and sell me back my Rosco!
