I'm sort of in.  There are sections of the Lakefront trail that are great.  
I'd recommend avoiding North Avenue to McCormick Place on a Saturday in 
August.  Also, Navy Pier has little redeeming cultural value and the LFT is 
a disaster around there despite tens of millions of dollars spent.
