I can’t help with the ERD, but I’m dry curious what you used to stick the headbadge. I think the double stick tape typically used is about a sixteenth inch thick. If you go to the hardware store, ask for VHB outdoor doublestick tape. That’s “very high bond”, and shouldn’t bump out the badge too much, and won’t ever let it go without some serious elbow grease.
