Whoa now…replacing all my long 170 cranks and wide 420 bars is bound to put
an ugly dent in the bank account. For sure…considering the tidy collection
of beautiful silver bits I’ve accumulated to replace stuff that will
inevitably (if I’m lucky) need replacement.

What’s more, if this stuff is no longer fashionable I suspect folks won’t
be interested in buying.

I do like a spirited pace but I’m also mindful of preserving my assets.
Therefore gram and mm counting at the edges is probably not in my best
interest.

As a wise observer once said ‘fashion has consequences’.
