17 years ago last March, March 2008, we had Albuquerque’s first and only iBob ride and collected riders from as far north as Los Alamos as well as several from here in town. But while there’s overlap between the iBob list and the RBW list I don’t think a great deal of it happens in ABQ.
At any rate, I just had a good 2-person ride this morning and would enjoy a 2-person Official Albuquerque Rivendell Ride, if we stop at Flying Star at or near the end of the ride. (I started without breakfast this morning and brought no food so this morning did not complete the final 8 mile RT to/from the starting point but bailed at 26 miles 1 mile from my house. A Flying Star stop would have made those remaining 8 miles a doddle.) I will ride my all-time fave, the ’99 Joe fixed, with or without a 2-speed IGH rear wheel.
